The most important day of your life should be spent in beautiful, relaxed and elegant surroundings. Hesleyside is a magnificent and romantic location and can be yours exclusively for the day.

Hesleyside is a much-loved family home, not a cold commercial venue. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere. Because it is lived in, the house is only available for weddings on a handful of days each year. Those days are memorable for couples who celebrate their weddings here. We try to make you feel it is your own private home for the day.

We want you to have the wedding you choose, and will help you as much or as little as you want. We will not tell you what music to have or where to put the flowers. You will not be sharing your day with other wedding parties, with any other conventions or tourist groups. We don’t believe in corkage and unlike other historic Wedding venues we won’t make you use our caterers, florist, wine cellar, allowing you to control your own budget, and design the wedding you want.

Hesleyside is a world away from the frantic hustle and bustle of city or town. Standing in its own glorious parkland, which sweeps down to the banks of the River Tyne, Hesleyside is the perfect, elegant and timeless location for your wedding.
