Set in an oak copse just a minutes’ walk from the main house and with beautiful views over glorious parkland, Heather’s beautifully rustic Shepherd’s Hut exterior is traditionally handcrafted from reclaimed oak and insulated with cosy sheep’s wool. Heather’s interior is as luxurious as you could wish for, with a wood-burning stove and oven, en- suite shower, fluffy towels, flushing loo plus an impossibly comfortable king-size bed. This is glamping with a capital ‘G’. The covered veranda has rocking chairs and a huge wood-fired outdoor bath.
