Let the magic begin. Bramble is a reclaimed oak treasure set in Hesleyside’s beautiful parkland. Step inside this spacious roulotte (French for a fancy caravan) and you’ll fall instantly in love with this irresistible space. The sumptuous interior is as polished as you could hope for, packed with little luxuries including a wood-burning stove, small gas oven & hob, power shower, flushing loo, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and an immeasurably comfortable king-size four-poster bed looking out onto a covered verandah from which to enjoy your own private views from two rocking chairs and a huge wood-fired outdoor bath.

If you’ve brought the children, they’ll love the separate bunk room with its own climbing wall. Explore miles of woodland walks by day and as night falls, wrap up and stoke up the flames on your own private campfire and toast marshmallows (provided for you) before watching in awe as some of the darkest skies in the UK become awash with a million brilliant stars. Want to wonder at the universe close up? We’ve left some stargazing equipment inside your hut…

"Stayed at Heather and the experience was amazing, loved the wooden stove it warms up the hut really quick.

It’s very unique and you feel independent and out there in the wild. I wish the checkout wasn’t so early at 10am. 12pm would have been great so it doesn’t feel like rushed in the morning and you get to sleep with less stress. 2 x sacks of wood lasted us the two nights and even managed to do a lil bbq with it."

Just amazing. Nothing else needs to be said really, but I will anyway. We stayed in Rowan last weekend. The hut was immaculate and beautifully presented for our arrival. The hut itself is even better than it looks in the pictures online! It is clean and cosy, the windows allow plenty of light in during the day and are equipped with shutters which can be closed as necessary.

You have everything you need inside to survive. The bathroom has a modern feel without losing the charm of the hut. The bed was very comfortable. The view from the verandah is beautiful and the amount of wildlife around is amazing. It really feels you’re in the wild without sacrificing the comforts of home. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better base at which to spend our long weekend. Will be back!!!

Magical treehouse, private setting so not overlooked. Perfect for couples as romantic retreat but also fabulous with children as like a fairytale house.
