It is our strong belief that Hesleyside offers a much-needed retreat and sanctuary from the demanding world of 24hr rolling news and social media. We encourage our guests to immerse themselves fully in the beautiful flora and fauna that the Estate offers and switch off. If that is impossible you can of always download your favourite films and box sets in advance.

4G is available in all the huts and around the Estate.

We do not accept any large group bookings in efforts to preserve a more peaceful environment for all our guests.

All huts have a gas hob, grill, and small oven as well as an outdoor fire pit. Stove top kettles are also provided.

All cooking and toiletry essentials are provided as well as hot water bottles, games and even binoculars and a telescope! We advise you bring wellies or sensible walking shoes, a coat, your favourite book, and you’re all set.

All our huts are warm and toasty, they are insulated with sheep’s wool, and all have a wood burner. There is the additional option of radiators in Winter.
